'Well Dodgy Finish Well In Front Once Again!

It was hot, hot, hot outside with temperatures reaching 30*C and over but it was chilled and relaxing at the Star Of The East with their wonderful air-conditioning and wide range of delicious, cool drinks. It was very much a character based quiz this week, and we're not talking about the wide range of characters in the pub! Our teams were straight up and truthful in their answers, knowing that Bertha was the sarcastic housekeeper in Two and a Half Men. They couldn't 'bear' how silly Paddington is, guessing that he was the character created by Michael Bond and there were no frogs in anybody's throats, stating that Ranidaphobia is a fear of those very animals! This Pub Used To Be Well Dodgy retained their title with 36.5 points and newcomers TBC bagged the bottle of wine with 15 points! Hopefully the weather will be a bit milder next week but the jackpot has already fired up, a flaming £88 on offer for all teams, regardless of their final position. See you all next Tuesday!
