Number 42 trade High Winds for a High Score!

Andrew P

Love was in the air at the Star of the East this Tuesday, it being just days away from Valentine's day! A competition is a competition, however, and there was no love lost between our feisty teams who were all up for winning the top prize! Talking of love and relationships, our players were asked what was the study of the relationship between people and their work environment, with the specific aim of improving performance. This hardworking lot put out a heartfelt answer of 'Ergonomics'. A rather cheeky question was, which fruity emoji is often used to represent a bottom? Many knew this one, giving a peachy keen answer of the peach! Finally, there was the naughty Latin phrase that refers to the popular and ancient form of birth control, known to us as the rhythm method, but to historical ears as 'Coitus Interruptus'. Number 42 were reunited, proving that four heads were better than three, scoring 38 and making sure that Cupid's arrow hit the target of the £50 bar tab! Anyone Seen Steve scored a more than respectable 34 points, which on another night could've won it- taking home a bottle of house red and proving that romance isn't dead. It was a lovely evening that cannot be matched... not unless you compare it to next week, where the Jackpot will be an eye watering £86!
