The Coup Triumphed!

It was another fabulous evening for a pub quiz, as the teams rolled in to compete and take part in an evening of wonderful food, drink and indulging of general knowledge and skill at The Grapes.

Another close night, However, it was The Fren-Cheese, who were smiling and enjoying another French delicacy at the end of the evening - a house bottle of vin rouge, to celebrate their position in the quiz, of 2nd to last place. Bravo!

On a huge score of 45 for this evening, was The Coup, who walked away in first position and with the £50 food and bar tab for The Grapes, Limehouse. A triumph!

The jackpot round this evening was worth £510. Teams listened attentively as we asked the final question, hoping to have the chance to choose from one of 10 envelopes. One of which would let them walk away £510 wealthier.

The tension grew as the answers came in, as all waited on the edge of their seats to see if they would be up to choose from the envelopes. However, You Brexit, You Fix It, had the closest answer to the correct answer for this round and they sent a delegate up.

The crowd looked on in anticipation however, they chose an envelope containing a blank piece of paper!!
