A Sizzling Quiz For a Sizzling Summer Evening

It was a lovely summer evening down at the Grapes. Despite the heat, teams came to participate in a challenging quiz sidelined with some cold drinks.

As the teams assembled, they readied themselves for a night of knowledge, skill and tenacious competition!

It was team Steve that walked away with a refreshing Bottle of Sauvignon blanc as he enjoyed and celebrated his position in 2nd to last place.

It was a close first, this evening, with two teams head-to-head however, in the final moment Felix’s Foxes took away the position of first place but just one point! Despite the fact that Felix (the teams tired Beagle puppy and budding mascot ) had to go home before he witnessed his team triumph! A £50 food and bar tab to be shared amongst them, bravo team!

Most excitingly tonight was the jackpot round, with £490 up for grabs, if somebody was lucky enough to take it away. The teams wrangled in for the final question however it was team Steve who was successful and came to choose from the pile of envelopes. Alas, incorrectly he chose, meaning that next week the jackpot, ladies and gentlemen, will be £510. What better way to start your Monday off then to join us down at the grapes.
