Well it was for at least one team "The Noel It Alls". After a week without a quiz at The Spice (jazz instead) it was back to quiz business last night with 13 teams vying for a share of the £106 pot.
At the end of the evening two teams shared the honours of the top score which was 40 points. Quizmaster Richard Linton as always gave the choice of a 50/50 split of the first two cash prizes or a tie-break question to decide the outcome. The teams liked the idea of a tie-break, so Richard posed a question regarding the difference in ages between Prince Charles and Prince Edward. The result was a resounding win for "Waiting For Caitlyn".
"Snakes Don't Hiss They Quiz", came in second , whilst "Dr Cool Grillz" made it to third having previously won outright.
A second to last bottle of wine prize went to a two person team, "The Winning Team". The two team members did win, a chilled bottle of white wine!
We quiz again next week (3rd December) and again on the 17th but not on the 10th.
