The exit polls suggested a swing to "Cats like Felix"!

And the exit polls proved to be accurate, although a recount in the form of a tiebreaker was necessary as "Cats like Felix" and "One stinking Bishop and a laughing Cow" were tied on 32 points. "Cats like Felix" were however more informed on the size of Christmas trees and accordingly took the £50 bar voucher first prize - I trust Grandpa will be providing Felix with a similar sized tree at home! The outcome of the bottle of wine second prize for coming second to last also proved to be a marginal seat and similarly needed a recount in the form of a tiebreaker to determine its destiny. "Quizzerines" prevailed over "Bonnies Brains".

All teams played for the £106 Jackpot cash prize and had to answer on the Guinness World Record for the longest kiss, which to say the least, produced some interesting answers. The "King and his Queen" however showed their expertise on the subject and won the opportunity to play their cards right. Having had a poor run of cards historically the number of cards were reduced in an endeavour to provide an early Christmas present. Despite a good starting card of a 3 followed by a 4 and then a highly rational call to go higher, produced would you believe an ace (1)!! So the Jackpot increases to £114.50 and rolls over the first quiz of the New Year at the Red Lion.
