Which was all well and good, but some of the teams wanted to answer the question in picture form, but had to be discouraged as we had children in the house.

Anyway, a convivial and cosy evening was had this evening where all teams but one (no names, no pack drill) at least had the opportunity of taking home a prize. Although "Liliwhites" scored 35 points, they were extremely gracious in accepting a one point deduction for their seventh team member. A tiebreaker was therefore required with the two player team "One Stinking Bishop and a Laughing Cow" to determine the destiny of the £50 bar voucher first prize. Albeit close, "Liliwhites" prevailed. Despite their (well her) protestations throughout the quiz of lacking in general knowledge, "The Fortune-Walkers went home with a bottle of very nice wine for their efforts in coming second last, which I can tell you from experience takes much skill and dexterity.

All teams played for the for the opportunity to 'Play your Cards Right" for the £95 cash Jackpot. "Murphy's Law (and the Pony Squad)" were successful. The cards were shuffled, cut and the cards were laid out. The base card revealed was a 4 which they stuck with and very positively went higher............only to reveal a 3!!!!! The Jackpot therefore increases to £106 and rolls over to our CHRISTMAS THEMED QUIZ on Thursday 12th December, so cast your vote, come to the quiz and forget about politics for a couple of hours.
