Nearly a clean sweep for "Cats like Feliz"

Albeit previous quiz winners on more than one occasion, "Cats like Felix" along with "Minds a Blank" were pipped at the post by a single point this evening by "Missing a member" who took the £50 bar voucher first prize. They ("Cat's like Felix") did however win through to 'Play your Cards Right' for the £114 cash Jackpot. Without ever seeing a picture card they very skilfully navigated the six cards higher and lower to take home a nice post Christmas present, a proportion of which I overheard being very generously donated to venue's designated charity.

I not sure the word skill can be associated to the bottle of wine prize for coming second last. That said this week's recipients "Bonnie's Brains" have now won it several times, so maybe there is skill involved ….. or perhaps a shortage of the stuff at home!

Anyway, a delightfully pleasant evening was had at this most convivial venue and we do it all again in two weeks time: Thursday 23rd January.
