You may come last in the quiz, but can still win the Jackpot cash prize!

Which is exactly what happened at this week's Quiz Night at the Jolly Farmer. Having come last in the quiz and given their answer to the Jackpot cash prize question, the "Dumb Blondes" had packed their bags and were rather disconsolately ready to go when it was suggested they should perhaps hang on a few minutes longer. Along with "Rope Crown Muscles" they gave the exact correct answer to Jackpot cash prize question and also picked envelope number 3. Needless to say they went home noticeably happier with the £81.50 Jackpot cash prize and deservedly so.

With regards to the main quiz, the youngsters in the form of "The Spanish In Quizition" and the "Dino Gang" fought a tiebreaker to resolve the destination of the £40 bar voucher first prize. The former prevailed and special mention should go to them as they very graciously decided to split their winnings with "Dino Gang", thus demonstrating there is a future for mankind!!!

Despite the mind of a particular team member of "Thorzina" being elsewhere (the clue being the "buck" missing from their team name last week), they played a canny game and secured the £20 bar voucher for coming send last.

We do it all again next week at the Jolly Farmer, same place, same time: Tuesday 21st August; 7.00pm ish for a 7.30pm start.
