Quote'eth the ladies of "Team Not At The Bar" whose team name can only be described as a contradiction in terms as they seemed to be at the bar more often than not! Their imbibing did not however impede on their performance, in fact quite the opposite as the more they had the better they got, ultimately winning the £40 bar voucher by a clear 4 points from the "International Qiuznessmen". Team "Alpha" applied the same tactics but it had the opposite effect on them! They did however provide some interesting and amusing answers and also collected the £20 bar voucher for coming second last. Is there a strategic theme here?
We we're delighted to host team "Simple Minds" this evening who usually frequent the Quiz's at The White Bear in Ruislip. There journey was rewarded as they won the opportunity to be the first to draw from ten Jackpot envelopes for the £24.50 cash prize and were further rewarded as a winner... but of a bag of peanuts only on this occasion. So the Jackpot cash prize increases to £48 which will be played for next at the first Quiz Night of the New Year at The Jolly Farmer on Tuesday 8th January 2019: 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start as usual.
