"Pork Scratchings" Crunch Through The Answers!

A very pleasant and convivial evening was had at the first Quiz Night of New Year at The Jolly Farmer in Chalfont St. Peter. The £40 bar voucher first prize was won by "Port Scratchings" with a very credible 28 points, two points more than "Hubble Bubble" and four points more than "Nincompoodles". A tiebreaker was needed to decide the destiny of the £20 bar voucher second prize although the tiebreaker proved unnecessary as "Neighbours" and "Who needs the Boys!" decided to share the prize - a reflection on the people and the convivial environment.
"Nincompoodles" won the opportunity to draw from the Jackpot envelopes but unfortunately selected envelope number 7, so the cash prize increases to £50.50 and rolls over to next weeks Quiz Night when we do it all again: Tuesday 15th January, 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start as usual.
