Team "Quix in" is king of the jungle this week

With "Blind Mice", "The Bees", "Woody" (a dog) and "Saz & Maz", we were a bit of a menagerie this week at the Jolly Farmer. By a clear 3 points "Quiz in" however proved to be this weeks king of the singers, the jungle VIP at this week's Quiz Night at The Jolly Farmer in Chalfont St Peter and accordingly took the £40 bar and food voucher first prize.

It's fair to say that first timers "Rugby tots Ltd" were a little disappointed to learn they had come second to last. They did, however, perk-up considerably when to their surprise they were awarded the £20 par and food voucher second prize for the second least points of the evening. After realisation had set in they did say they'd been playing for it all evening! And I think I also saw a pink elephant passing the window!!

The excitement continued after the quiz with "Woody" winning the opportunity to draw from the Jackpot cash prize envelopes for the £42.50 cash prize. Despite a couple of earlier potential domestic situations between Mr & Mrs. Woody they jointly selected number 7 and were a winner ........... of a bag of crisps! So the increases to £53.50 and rolls over to next week's quiz when it all happens again at The Jolly Farmer: Tuesday 7th August; 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start !
