The Christmas tree was in full shimmer at the Hollybush in Loughton as our teams came together for their Sunday roast- of each other! Many friends were battling against people that they knew and it added that bit of extra spice to the proceedings! There a feeling of the great outdoors for tonight's Quiz, with plenty of Animal's involved- one lucky winner of the free drinks question, used their primal instinct to answer that the drummer from the muppets was called 'Animal'. If fictional creatures left you feeling blue, maybe the blue skinned cartoon characters created in North America in 1981 might not have cheered you up, many teams correctly stating that they were of course, the Smurfs. And finally, those who knew the buddy of Algy Pig and Ferdy Fox was our yellow scarfed friend, Ruper,t may have been a little older but I wouldn't have the 'Bear' faced cheek to suggest it!
