Peugeot 3008 release the handbreak on the season of good will!

Those who had advent calendars were tucking into their chocolate for the Quiz at the Hollybush, Loughton, signalling the first of December! In the true spirit of welcoming in the Christmas season, we had many groups of friends, coming for a laugh, a good time and hoping to learn something new! Our teams went back to childhood, guessing that the beetle based book publisher was of course 'Ladybird'! If that wasn't cute enough for our lot, they'd have loved the mythical rainbow beast in the 'make a sentence from the sequence' question which stated '1 horn on a Unicorn'. If our teams were interested in more recent animal sweetness, then maybe they'd have been more satisfied with the question asking which animal was the mascot of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which was of course Zabivaka the wolf! Newcomers Peugeot 3008 bagged the top prize with a very respectable 30 points (sharing the wealth of their £50 bar tab with their friends in Quizards of Oz) and Brexit won the bottle of wine with 18.5 points (sharing it with their new friends from Just the Three of Us!). 'Tis truly the season to be jolly....
