No Egg on Face for Quiz on my Face!

It may have been the FA League Cup final today but every Sunday is Quiz cup final day at the Hollybush in Loughton! Whilst the football had two teams battling it out, we had twelve teams looking to lift the trophy of a £50 food and bar certificate. We here at Question One are proud to say that our teams are truly number one; one could say that we’re ‘sapiosexuals’- which our clever lot knew was the term for being attracted to high intelligence! On a more sombre note, when it came to the question of the disease that has been the number one killer in the world throughout history, our players had a good idea that the answer was ‘malaria’ which still claims the lives of around one million people per year. Finally, when it came to the strange honour of which artist has had their work stolen the most times, everyone was understandably in a bit of a muddle! Maybe that was a clue, however, since the answer was the famous painter of the mixed up faces, Pablo Picasso! Quiz on my Face walked up the metaphorical Wembley Stairs scoring an impressive 36, beating two other teams in a tiebreaker, whilst Just Me gave a good showing, picking up the bottle of wine with 19 points! Next weeks jackpot is £147.00 which is cause for excitement as there are only three cards left to be played…
