After the third consecutive weekend of storms, with the unofficially named storm Ellen in full force, perhaps our teams thought that something mystical of biblical proportions was going on! When asked what boy band Take That's first UK Number 1 was, there were a plethora of hits for our players to choose from and the agony of choice may have made them want to 'Pray'- which was ironically the name of that first hit! Then there was the religion with the Golden Temple, something with a name not out of place in a mysterious Indiana Jones movie. Our wily teams, however, knew that it was the most important temple of the major religion of Sikhism! Finally, to add to the mysticism, when asked what spiritualist device was a portmanteau of both the French and German for 'yes'- our teams emphatically wrote 'Oui' and 'Ja' for the Ouija Board! Mum's on the Lash returned to score 36 points, topping the table by 4 and taking the £50 food and bar tab. One Hotspur also bagged the bottle of red wine, marking an improvement from last week, where he finished last, scoring 22 points!
