The fire power of the "Berko Bandits" was just enough

It was just like Gunfight at the O.K. Corral except on the Highwayman bar balcony as the "Berko Bandits" took on the "Pistachio Soufflé" brothers (and sisters) in a tiebreaker to decide this evening's £40 bar voucher quiz winners. Well actually, it was more like Ernie, the fastest milkman in the west who by way of a reminder, got his cocoa at Sue's three times every week. Although I digress, like Ernie, "Pistachio Soufflé" bit the dust and the "Berko Bandits" won the prize.

As always, many teams sought the coveted £20 bar voucher prize for coming second to last. "Two's Company" held that position after the first half of the quiz with "Quiz Eubank" a point behind them. However through great skill and dexterity roles were reversed at the end of the quiz with "Quiz Eubank" therefore prevailing.

We ended the evening with the jackpot round and "The Frenchies" won the opportunity to select from the remaining nine envelopes for the £150 cash prize. In opening the card inside the envelope there was great excitement from the team in seeing the word congratulations, only to find on greater scrutiny it was for winning a soft drink!

So the £150 Jackpot rolls over to next weeks quiz on Wednesday 22nd January when we do it all again. Same place same time. Oh, and nearly forgot; many happy returns Holly xx
