Le "Frenchies" certainly knew about Pain Perdu and Tim Tams

However, in another full and vibrant house at the Highwayman, it was "Jakson" who had the chance to clean up at this evenings quiz. Not only did they win the quiz and therefore the £40 Bar voucher, they also got the 'closest to' question exactly right and therefore had the opportunity to win the £150 Jackpot cash prize. In selecting envelope number 3 they were however respectfully (and regretfully) advised there was 'nothing in this envelope'!

We had a three delightful new teams this evening. "My Nan can wrestle but you should see her box" and "Bennetts Chain Mail" who respectively came second and third, one of whom believed 'the body of George Mallory (was) discovered 75 years after his disappearance' in Toys R Us!?!? As to which team, I think discretion is the better part of valour.

Our other new team, "Quiztionable Knowledge" also featured this evening as they finished tied with "Dom Pérignon" in second last place, but when we came to do the tiebreaker they had presumably left prematurely so the prize was presented to "Dom Pérignon" uncontested.

We do it all again next Wednesday the 12th February when we'll again play for the Jackpot cash prize of £150 with only six Jackpot envelopes now left.
