There was another win to tuck under the already well-upholstered belt of regulars Slartibartfast tonight at The Hare and Billet. On a freezing cold evening, the white heat of their quiz industry brought this quintet a winning score of 34 points and the top prize of a £50 bar tab. They were two points ahead of their nearest challengers, as Pizza Express Woking and It’s Will’s/Gareth’s Round were tied for 2nd on 32 points apiece. After a quickfire tiebreaker, the prize for second last went to Spelunkers, who just beat their fellow 24-pointers Vegan Virgins to the punch to take home a voucher for a bottle of wine.
