Victory at The Hare and Billet quiz this evening went to a group of relative newcomers who in the end comfortably managed to edge out a trio of regulars here. Taking home the £50 bar tab first prize, Theoretically Winning Here proved that theory with a superb winning total of 39 points. They were two points ahead of Tranquil Jokers on 37, and Sooooo Much Oil! were third on 35. The prize for second last was down to a quickfire tiebreaker, with Just The Two Of Us Tonight and Deptford & Doric both at the foot of the table on 23 points. In the end, Deptford & Doric were fastest on the draw and took home a voucher for a bottle of wine.
