It was a low-scoring contest at The Hare and Billet, Blackheath this evening, as only one team managed to score in the thirties (and only just). While 'The Chris Palmer Trio' led at the halfway point with 16, they only just missed out on the win by a point in the end. It was 'Team Corned Beef' edged past them to take the £50 bar tab first prize with 30 points, with 'The Chris Palmer Trio' on 29. Some way further down the table tonight were 'Who’s Lizzie?' who were rewarded with a voucher for a bottle of wine for coming second-last with 16 precious points.
