Traditionally at The Eagle in Hoxton, team names relate to a news item. Not always of course but the names that get the loudest cheers are always cleverly thought up puns or cryptic versions of items about which most people will have heard or read.
Last night there was only one "Flybe To The Moon". Perhaps no other news items were thought suitable.
In pole position last night was a team with previous wins under it's belt and with a two point lead over it's nearest rivals "Kevin & The Minions" score of 36 points was a convincing win. Some new teams joined in the fun and were most welcome- we look forward to seeing them again. Every Wednesday form 7:30pm. Don't be late!
