New Year New Teams.

At The Eagle in Hoxton last night, 2020 got off to a great start with the first quiz of the year attracting 13 teams. Apart from two bonus drink prizes, there is only one team prize at The Eagle and with a score of 41 points and beating the closest rival team by just one point, "Prefer Not To Say" was victorious.
As always here at The Eagle a great atmosphere with plenty of banter and some very clever team names although "The Barbecued Koalas" was perhaps pushing irony to it's limits.
There was also one team celebrating the fact that one member had just been awarded her UK citizenship. This lady was delighted with her dual nationality (French and now English as well), but after the end of the month I wonder oif this will still be an advantage? Only time will tell!
