Bears Back On Top.

One of the most successful teams at The Eagle, The Cummy Bears was back last night and in winning form. However, a score of thirty eight points although very good was not enough to win, because two other teams reached the same level of excellence. A three way tie-break with a question about the age of the Eiffiel Tower was the way forward and The Cummy Bears answer of 131 years old was just one year out! Success once again for the Bears!
A busy quiz night with the same number of players as the week before but more teams and at least two teams having nowhere to sit. Did the lack of seating put these people off? Of course not! Two teams standing at the bar utilising any space not taken up with glasses to rest the answer sheet and picture sheet on and still managing to complete the quiz. Hopefully they will book a table next week!
