The Eagle had a few empty tables just before the quiz started last night, mainly because some teams had booked but not arrived! As it happens, a couple of extra teams arrived looking for tables and luckily were not disappointed.
Also last night there were at least four or more teams which had not quizzed at The Eagle before. Add into the mix some interesting names like "Paul's Cleaners", "No Thanks I'm Full" and my favourite "Dead Hipo Society" - very important that "Hippo" was spelt with only one "P".
At the finish one of the new teams won by just one point "Luke Duffy's Team" with a creditable score of 32 points. However, if you have a great quiz team name or would like to try and win the cash pot which last night was £140, come along next Wednesday. Quizzing starts at 7:30pm.
