Quizzers Love Quizzing More Than Many Things!

Five teams of intrepid quizzers braved the Stygian tumult at The Duchy Arms tonight. Between the revelry of a (quite fancy looking) private function and the Glorious never-ending football, 33 quizzers stood, Spartan-like, ready to test their trivia knowledge. Ultimately it was the "Unglorious Basterds", a skeleton team of four, that DITLOIDED their way to victory and the delicious bar tab. Second to last came "Parrs Christmas", who gladly accepted their bottle of wine. But wait! There’s still the jackpot round! The five teams feverishly competed to guess the date of the first commercial Christmas card (1843) and it was the "Parrs" that won the day – and some might say more importantly – the jackpot.
Special mention goes to the team "Bubble Nova", who definitely had the most fun.
