So, the team representing the better half of Global Radio, the team who come up with the greatest names in pub quizzing history, the team that hasn't won anything in months, finally blagged a victory tonight -- via a tense tiebreak. And they couldn't even muster a name between them.

Knowledge on obscure TV shows, even more obscure Pacific Islands and old names for poor quality wool - oh and Aztec food - gave them the advantage over second placed Fat and Sassy who talked themselves out of at least two correct answers. They settled for their second bottle of wine from their last two attempts. I'm sure they'll be back for the win next week.

The jackpot continues to grow also. A member of Chicks with D**ks was five minutes off the time it takes to drive the 500 or so miles from Inverness to Plymouth (he knew because he'd driven from John O'Groats to Bristol once) but he could only fall down at the door to the jackpot by not selecting a Queen from the four remaining cards.

It means you've a one in three chance of winning a gargantuan £602 if you get next week's closest-to question. You'd better not miss it.
