Sounds of Fatness made it two wins in a row beating team Sausage Roll into second place by just half a point.

In a lower than usual scoring quiz, other teams battled through a tough second half with varying results. Especially for a team which was missing its regular Canadian and a group celebrating a departure -- one playing admirably but failing miserably in a fair split of their large party and the other playing for the jackpot, which they also lost.

It does mean that there's now nearly a Pony in the jackpot (I think that's £500 in cockney rhyming slang -- if it isn't, then I'll give a bonus point for correcting me next week) so that's one bloody big prize for anyone with a good eye for closest-to questions.

Anyway, the consolation prizes are worth turning up for, regardless of how well you do and whatever happens, you'll be treated to an entertaining night out at Balham's hottest quiz.
