Rammo in the main room and it's even more rammo in the jackpot

It really was rammo for a packed out quiz at the Devonshire. With the jackpot just shy of a Monkey at £494, it was a tense atmosphere as teams played out a tricky quiz.

The questions were tough this week but it they were no match for three teams in particular.

Snap! The election continued their fine run and came out on top, beating constant improvers Shades of Great into second place by two points. And in a scene of great sportsmanship, they donated their bottle of wine to third placers, 2 guys, 6 eyes who were short of their regular teammates but still played commendably to score 40 with just the two of them. Great effort.

It was also a great effort for a fair few others, some of whom it was their first time playing. Especially Three Non Blondes who got themselves in the speed bonus point action.

The jackpot was meant to be sunk tonight but it's still going, unlike the Titanic which teams had to know something about it to be able to play for it. That privilege went to Hearnvillains. But unfortunately for them, their chances sunk like the great ship and the jackpot increases to a massive, wait for it, £632.

You'd better not miss it. After a rainy bank holiday, it'll be just what the hangover doctor ordered.
