The jackpot grows, unlike their winning streak
Marc F
Once again the jackpot went unclaimed at tonight's Devonshire quiz.
This time it was the turn of last week's (and the week before's) winners. They got with 200 miles of the closest-to question to try and find the Queen. There was no messing in the selection but perhaps some deliberation might have given them time to get their x-ray specs in order. Five cards left and the jackpot stands just shy of a Monkey.
Sadly for them, though, they lost the other tiebreaker and went for an answer much further off comparatively, meaning they squandered a hat trick of wins to other regular winners Sausage Roll. Good scores from the both of them in a strong field this week that killed the hopes of three teams of varying origin (Australia and New Zealand, basically) who shared the bottom spot.
Still good effort all round and like I keep saying. That jackpot is anyone's. So get yourselves down, it could be you.
