Doesn't matter who you are, even two twats can win a quiz

In what must be a record score for a two player team, 'The Two Twats By The Bar' — they called themselves that, not me — won with a gigantic score of 41, and I didn't even give them any clues.

In a packed out pub, there was literally no room at the inn, so they had to stand by the bar. I'm assuming there must have been some cosmic energy around there to propel them to an amazing victory. I'm sure they'll be back next week to drink their winnings, and if they don't get a seat, they'll be ideally placed to do so.

Another reminder that it's wise to book ahead although we'll never turn you away. And another reason to book ahead is that the jackpot wasn't won this week, despite one team with an original name that has never been used before ('Quiz in my pants') knowing, to the second, how long the 'Wright Brothers'' first flight lasted. With eight cards on the picture, the Queen remains, so you ALL have a chance at playing for the MASSIVE £242 jackpot which will be waiting for you should you be good enough to pick out that elusive queen. I suggest you come and find out if that cash could be yours.

Honourable mentions go out to 'Slightly A Quiz Team', who blagged a bottle of wine, aided by their speed with the cryptic tube stations for which I awarded an extra point, and 'Very Good For Two', who scored over 30, a fantastic score and only a few points off second place, for a team of two that couldn't hear half the questions — don't worry, I repeated them at their table.
