The Morgans are Miraculous!

What a glorious evening of nail bitingly tense quizzing we've had tonight at Beer Hawk. New teams, delightful duos SPIT BALLING and THE WOLFPACK absolutely smashed it in the 'small team category' with an average of 15.5 points per person. Well done Jez and Kevin for winning tonight's spicy crackers - who doesn't love a Mancunian boner? And Kindra and Dave were as smart as a whip and an absolute joy to behold - thanks for the physics lesson Dave.
The race for the top spot was TIGHT AF. After a tricky music round, reigning champions TEAM INEBRIATED were on top form, and and half time it was neck and neck. And it seemed as though THE MORGANS may have shot themselves in the foot (4.231 Jeremy), but thanks to Take That relighting their fire, the THE MORGANS AND THE SMARTEST FRIENDS THEY COULD FIND (PLUS JEROEN) did the seemingly impossible and BEAT Team Inebriated. OH MY DAYS! WHAT A SHOCKER! Kristian, Dave, Matt and Mark: you're all fabulous and I adore you. That Sabre Tooth Squirrel got the better of you this week, but I know you're gonna storm it next week (listen to Spotify all day everyday - and best of luck with dry-veganury Matt). My absolute heartfelt congratulations go to the lovely Christine, Jeremy, Susan, Jessica and Jeroen. You beat the titans of quzzing and thoroughly deserve that £50 bar tab.
