Team Inebriated are back on Top Form

I've always said that quizzing is the most fun you can have with your clothes on. And tonight at Beer Hawk, that was very much proven. New team, THE RICK STEIN FAN CLUB, played an excellent game, but got pipped into seventh place by our more experienced teams - come back next week lads and you'll win, I know you will. Taking the second-to-last place bottle of wine was a very jammy James representing team THE CHASE. Despite being abandoned by the other half of his team in the middle of the quiz, James managed to nab the much coveted second-to-last place booze whilst also remembering my name. Well done, James! Next up, we have the wonderful Matthew (Mathieu) and Simon (it's Michael F**king Keaton) of team S&M who were an absolutely FABULOUS addition to the quiz, in spite their lack of specific Kate Winslet knowledge. Watch Titanic, it's brilliant. Then we have Amy and A MAN FROM CHESHIRE who ended the night on a very respectable 31. Great quzzing from a lovely team - I can't wait to see you again soon. In bronze position we have TEAM 3/5 who were the absolute come-back-kids of the evening, ending the first round at the bottom of the table, and then managing to zoom their way up into third place by the end of the evening. AND they won the much lusted after spicy crackers with a zinger of an answer about my favourite body part. Yay! In silver place, we have Dave, Kindra and their team SPITBALLIN 4 APPLEZ. Gosh you are clever and hilarious and you both wear hats brilliantly. But, after missing out on the top sport for the last couple of quizzes, reigning champions TEAM INEBRIATED were keen to get back to first place, and get back to first place they most certainly did! Kristian, Dave, Mark and Matt absolutely slayed the competition this week, ending on a mighty 45. They even trumped their Achilles heel and smashed the music round too. Well done chaps! Welcome back to not paying for booze again.
