What an evening of utter bantz at Beer Hawk! It was a tight race for the top spot, and tension was high with pints of beer being thrown to the floor and pens being snapped in two. Brand new to Beer Hawk, Marco, Will, Guy, Amanda and Ben the Brit of TEAM SWIM, proved themselves to be excellent quizzers and came in a super impressive third place. Just missing out on the top spot by one point was James and Chris of team FRANK - they are a force to be reckoned with and really put in a stella two-person performance. However, it wasn't quite enough to beat reigning champions, Kristian, Kate, Mark and Dave (Babe) of TEAM INEBRIATED, who once again nabbed the £50 bar tab for the forth time. WHAT ABSOLUTE LEGENDS!
Lovely Adam from NEXT ROUND ON ME struggled this week with no Holly-Valance-based questions - soz mate, hopefully she'll come up again next week. Team SUNDERLAND, not only won lots of beer for getting the coveted second-to-last spot, but also won some hot wasabi peanuts for giving me my favourite answer of the night (I must book a holiday to Cyrpus...). And special shout out to Tom from LES OEUF-TETES for being the first person to get '2 w s-s in C' - I was as shocked as anyone. Tom and Tahlia continue to be very talented at pouring pints and answering quiz questions at the same time - multi-tasking like you've never seen!
What have learnt this week:

• Enya and Shakespeare's Sister are not the same thing
• Kate Upton's mouth and chin is less recognisable than you'd think
• In 2019, no one gives a f*** about Scouting for Girls.
