Fabulous night of quizzing tonight at Beer Hawk! Five teams battled it out in the ultimate test of trivia and general knowledge to see who had what it takes to win that coveted £50 bar tab.
And my goodness, what a tight game it was! One point separated the top three teams. 'Girls just Wanna have Fun' came third with answer-machine, Rich, helping them end on a very respectable 38. 'Winston Doesn't Pay' just fell short of first place with 39, but received powerful vibes from their team mascot, Winston Churchill, and provided some excellent answers throughout the night. First places went to new regular team, 'Team 1' who finished the night on 40 points, winning them a second £50 bar tab to add to the voucher they won two weeks ago. 'Team 1' are turning out to be a mighty force to be reckoned with! The second-to-last beers went to a delighted James and Chris of 'Wine Mixers - 1', and 'Les Ouefs-tetes' won some spicy crackers for giving me my favourite answer of the night. '46 c in a hc' - we all know what that stands for . . . right?
