Geography Hawk
Rob W
It was a map-and-travel heavy one at the Beer Hawk tonight (a very nice little pub in Bankside, by the way). Questions ranged from north-western American states, to the tiniest Commonwealth nations, to the main river of Madrid, to the roadways of India. In the end—and what a end it was—Expected Loss expected wrong and won the night (by a mere half-a-point), while a tie-break was necessary to separate the two teams in a dead heat for second-to-last. Short & Curlies won out over Comfortably Dumb in a question about the world's weightiest pumpkin. It was fun while it lasted, Hawks, but your regularly scheduled host shall soon return. Until then, be kind and play safe.
