Last night at The Angel, seven teams competed for the prize of a £50 bar tab. A great mixture of people and teams, one team with eight team members. All was well until an answer was queried! The question asked was, "Which country has the highest number of cycles per capita"?
The answer was The Netherlands but one team put Holland! Now there is a difference and quizmaster Richard Linton knew this so did not allow Holland as an answer. A great deal of good natured banter took place as various quizzers gave their own opinions as to the rights and wrongs of the answer. In the end The Quizmaster's word was final despite a few moans!!
Well done to "Sensational" for a sensational win with 37 points.
The only place in the City to be on a Monday evening - The Angel - quizzing starts at 6:30pm.
