A very friendly white coated dog is Bernie. He came to The Angel last night with his team (Bernie's Bitches) and joined in the fun. Six teams playing last night and enjoying a lively evening with not only a £50 bar tab for the top scoring team, but also two bonus drink prizes as well.
One three person team - all women - had come down to London from just outside Durham City. The ladies were on a three day course and popped into The Angel for food and a drink but decided to join in the fun and form a quiz team.
The winning team was "Liannas Sweaty Boys" celebrating not only a quiz win but a football win as well hence the team name, suggesting at least three gents who had come straight form the pitch after the game without even stopping for a shower!
