Jetting In For The Quiz.

Last night at the Angel during the regular Monday quiz, one team was incomplete with a team member missing, A three person team but with only two people playing the quiz at the start but just before the half-way point a lady arrived completing the team. Nothing unusual about this but she had flown in from New Zealand!
Now I know the quiz is popular but to fly in from New Zealand - wow!
Actually, I believe that she works in the UK.
Obviously her presence was important to the team because by the end of the quiz "Jetlag" was one of the top teams with a score of 27 points. Another team "Emmas Long Quiztance Relationship" also finished with a score of 27 so a tie-break took place with the result that "Emmas' team ended the night with a £50 bar tab prize.
