Well a new venue for quizmaster Richard Linton anyway, The Angel in the City Road which has a regular Monday night quiz with a £50 bar tab as the main prize and two bonus drink prizes as well.
Seven teams competed last night and at the finish there was a tie between "Magnificent Seven" and "Here's To You Mrs Robinson", both teams having scored 31 points. After a tie-break question had been answered, "Here's To You Mrs Robinson" ended the evening as the winning team.
Two bonus drinks were both won by the same person, an Australian gent who at the start of the evening had been worried that the questions might be too UK biased. Clearly not so!
