This Tuesday night quiz extravaganza at the Woodman once again threw up a fiercely competitive affair. Five teams fought bitterly for the title, however, of course there could only be one overall winner. The halfway point saw our teams positioned extremely closely with two teams in joint first and two teams in joint second, it really was anybody's to win. As usual, the second phase of questions saw different levels of fortune between the teams and the winners won by a margin of 4 points in the end. The prizes were presented, with the second last placed team winning themselves a bottle of wine as a consolation and, of course, the winners grabbing a £50 bar tab. Next week can't come quickly enough for some as we closed another fine night of quizzing at the Woodman. On to next week!
