Quizzy Rascals in tense tiebreak triumph!

The Quizzy Rascals took the gold in a tiebreaker finish at the Wigmore on Monday evening, their knowledge of Popeye cartoons just edging them ahead of second-placed California Crew.
The California Crew had their own successes during the evening, winning both round 1's free drinks question and the creative round. Teams were challenged to come up with a new TV show featuring characters from two shows of differing genres. Their "Mad-Sons" featured Homer Simpson and Dan Draper from 'Mad Men' as detectives, and netted them the points from the judging staff.
Newbies Girls In The Corner took round 2's free drink and bonus points, plus the bonus point for funniest wrong answer of the evening.
California Crew took the coveted second-to-bottom position, and were the first team to spin the #wigmorewheel of prizes. They won themselves a free dessert.
