A lovely crowd filled out the Green Man quiz this Tuesday evening, with a generous pot going to our winners, Pure Luck—who obviously didn't need any, not after a mighty round two put them nearly 6 points ahead! On the flip side, a tie break question about the punctuality of Japanese trains was required when the Sisses and Ocean's 3 tied for second-to-last (congrats to the 3, who pipped the win by a mere 6 seconds). In between we had notable questions about the Olympics and the last person convicted under the UK's Witchcraft Act in 1944 (when it became the far less sexy "Fraudulent Medium Act"). Ho hum. No quizzes at the Green Man all though Dec, but I'll be back at on the 7th of Jan. Til then, Merry Chrimbo everybody!
