Snug and Gamy

A massive standing-room-only crowd at the Green Man in Fitzrovia tonight, with a whopping 37 quizzers putting the “snug” (literally) in the upstairs snug. With so many of you up there things couldn’t help but get a bit gamy—by which of course I mean questions about games: The Hunger Games; Scrabble; and everyone’s favourite, Cribbage. In the end the Sweaty Plebs took the pot by breaking the mythical 40 point barrier, while the Beyoncé Know-Alls came from behind to win the bottle of wine—thanks to a thunderously good round two.
