Turing’s Due, Took First Place!

Another fantastic summer evening at The Grapes Limehouse! A challenging quiz, spritely crowd, good food and great drink is the perfect combination to end your Monday and start your week off in the right fashion.

The teams came together for a competition of the minds and there was only one successor, Turing’s Due, that walked away with first place! A £50 food and bar tab for The Grapes was shared amongst friends to celebrate their glory!

In second to last place we had The Magic Monday’s, a team featuring two new friends of the Grapes and Gaz who had joined us for a quiz (after too long of a hiatus!) They shared their earnings (a bottle of wine!) in reflective glory of second to last place.

However the penultimate moment of the evening was definitely put down to the jackpot round, this evening it was worth £370 .... all teams got their answers in however, only one was close enough to the right answer (close by only one count which is extraordinary in itself). The team that came and selected an envelope was, Turing’s Due!! They scanned the envelopes to find one, but unfortunately It was not the correct envelope. Which means only one thing ladies and gentlemen! Next week is jackpot will sit at £390.

There is no excuse not to join us! So see you next week at the grapes at 8 pm for another great quiz.
