Quizzes United From Around the World, to Quiz at The Grapes

It was a beautiful Summer evening at The Grapes. Cool drinks, fresh food and a lovely summer breeze set the scene for an exciting night Monday night of Quizzing. Quizzers joined us from across the Globe - travelling across country, continents and seas to join us for the prestigious event that is Monday nights at The Grapes.

It was a trialling quiz, but all did well! In second to last place this evening we had 2 teams fighting it out for a bottle of wine. Naked Mole Rats vs. The Rest of the World Call them Pants.
However, it was the Naked Mole Rats that won their tiebreaking round and succeeded in acquiring and enjoying a lovely bottle of Sauvignon Blanc.

In first place this evening, there was no tie-breaker- instead - there was a clear winning team who walked away with a 50-pound food and bar tab for the Grapes! The team was P * O * Theresa. Congratulations to this team!

Finally, the Jackpot Round:
The Jackpot Round was thrilling tonight, as it was worth 390 POUND. A staggering prize to walk away with. All teams got their answers in, however, the only team that was closest to the correct answer- that was The Unholy Trinity!

As the bar watched on, the team made their way to choose one of 10 envelopes. They chose, and as they opened the envelope, realised that they..... had chosen the wrong one!! Which means 1 thing! Next weeks jackpot is worth 410 pounds!!! It is not to be missed ladies and gentlemen!!
