A Triumphant Evening at The Grapes

It was a triumphant evening at the Grapes in Limehouse. Despite the threat of summer rain and grey clouds the crowd is poured in for a wonderful evening and challenging quiz.

As All 21 teams assembled to compete for the £50 food and bar tab and the honour of being quiz champions, only one team was able to take the crown. Hail the people of Hong Kong took away first prize of last night quiz . A close pursuit by all teams however, they were successful.

In 2nd to last place, three peas in a pod walked away with a lovely bottle of Malbec to enjoy in memory of the quiz.

However the most exciting part of last night was the jackpot which was worth £450! All teams joined in for the jackpot round the chance to choose the winning envelope however only one was lucky enough to be able to do so.

Team Ioanian had the closest answer to the correct answer, they came to choose the envelopes however chose incorrectly! Which means one thing ladies and gentlemen next week the jackpot is at £470!!
