A Burnout Affair, Ending in Success

Another fantastic and buzzing night down at The Grapes! Teams assembled for a challenging quiz and took the challenge in high spirits!

After a trialling first half, that could have threatened a burnout for the second half, instead had the opposite affect as the Burnouts In Love, took the crown championship of tonight’s pub quiz. Recipients of a £50 bar tab plus the honour of coming first many their Monday was off to a thrilling start.

Not unique to themselves, all teams worked hard and walked away hungry for more competition next week!

Tri-Harder, indeed, tried hard, and were rewarded with a lovely bottle of Malbec to share amongst the team, a wonderful result over a challenging and close quiz!

Again, we entered our jackpot round... a staggering £430 this evening was up for grabs! Gin’ll Fix It, The team who wisely relied on a night of gin to get themselves through their quiz, indeed allowed gin to fix it for them and their answer in their round was more spot on then the rest of the pubs! They sent their representative to choose an envelope but alas, did not choose our jackpot envelope!
