Barflies Fly to Victory

It was an exciting night at The Station Hotel as many people came in to compete for a £50 bar tab in spite of the hot weather. It was an incredibly close game, with three teams tied for second place, but in the end, it was Team "Barflies" who snuck past the competition by just one point, taking home the prize! Afterwards, all the quizzers supported Scott from the team "One of Us Is a Dog" by giving him advice on the Jackpot card game. But Scott stayed cool and confident, and deftly managed his way higher and lower, getting to the final card and winning that sweet cash Jackpot! Let's hope he can use all those tenners to fan himself and stay cool.
