Just Too Late!

The last but one quiz before Christmas took place at The Spice of Life last night with the time of year resulting in lots of "Christmas" related team names. Twelve teams competed for three cash prizes and of course a bottle of wine for the team coming second to last. Just as a tie-break question was about to be read to settle second place, a party of six people came in and asked if they could join the quiz! Quiz master Richard Linton explained that the quiz was almost over and that it began at 7pm! After suggesting that the late arrivals might come back next week, it turned out that they were American visitors flying home the following day so it had to be Happy Christmas and safe journey home!
